June 11 2025 at 8:30PM The Oklahoma Thunder Rolls into Indiana to take on the Pacers in Game 3 of the finals, Will the Pacers pull off another last second comeback or has the Thunder finally sealed their lightning in the bottle?
Is The Moment over for Haliburton?
After a slow start in game 2 many expected it to play out similarly to game 1 but the Pacers were never able to fight their way back after going down double digits early in the game. Not that the Pacers are a stranger to playing from behind but this game specifically they never were able to maintain the momentum to carry them to a competitive position. Haliburton showed signs of life in the 4th quarter with 12 points going 5/6 but it was too little too late after going 2/7 from the field in the first 3 quarters only putting up 5 points. Which is a clear cut sign that a last second rally just isn’t enough sometimes.
Rolling Thunder
The thunder rarely showed signs of struggle keeping a firm grasp on the pace of the game even going on a 35-9 Run early in the game quickly choking out any hope Pacers fans had coming into the game highlighted by SGA (36 MIN | 34PTS | 5 REB | 8 AST | +5) and Aaron Wiggins (21 MIN | 18 PTS | 4 REB | 1 AST | +24) both boasting a field goal percentage over 50 percent they put on a strong game and snuffed out any chances of the Pacers gaining traction.
Game 3 Predictions?
If the Pacers can maintain a closer game early instead of putting themselves in a potential blowout situation I could see this game going differently especially with the game taking place in Indiana, I could see the crowd taking control keeping the flow of the game in the Pacers hands. Unless the Thunder takes a strong early lead to silence the noise I have the Pacers winning with odds as of now at (+5.5)
